Bolga Baskets so Durable and so Beautiful!

The small bolga basket is perfect for Nature Kids! Children love carrying around this basket on adventures, finding flowers, sticks, shells and all sorts of tiny treasures to put in their cute baskets!

The Medium and Large Bolga Basket size is perfect for market shopping, Family Picnics, Adventures, Gardening and around the home.

Our Round Baskets are hand-woven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana

Our vegan baskets are more delicate because they’re missing the leather enforcement, so we recommend using them carefully and to avoid carrying heavy items. This is especially true for the large vegan baskets.

Reshaping Bolga Baskets – Its super easy!

• Simply submerge the basket in cold water for one minute.
• Allow the basket to rest for 5 minutes, to allow the natural fibres to absorb the water.
• Manually manipulate the basket usings your hands. Bend and reshape as required.
• Tip: A great technique is to hit the baskets against a flat surface, making them more pliable. Don’t worry the baskets are tough!
• Let air dry and enjoy your fabulous new basket.
