How to use modelling beeswax  - 

The modelling wax comes in a hard bar, to use it, first you need to soften it. 

Here are two ways we like to soften the wax

• Traditionally in waldorf schools around the world this is done by giving children a bar to warm in their hands, rolling and shaping while they listen to a story. then its ready to use!
• However if your after a quicker way to soften your beeswax bars, we place bowls of hot water on a table and let the children place the colours they need in the warm water to soften.

Once soft the wax is so easy to mould, its such a beautifully sensory experience, the smell is AMAZING!

You can create anything your creativity leads you to - wax flowers, wax people, animals and so much more. While you are working the wax it stays soft then once you have finished your creation, leave it to harden.

If / when you want to reuse that wax, simply soften it again!
